Manipulating your data on Tato

You can manipulate the data in data in each of the views to extract relevant project insights.

Event Search

You can filter the events on the timeline and narrow it down to the ones you need. You can search by project, tag or keyword. You can also combine filters.

Event search is only available on the timeline view

The search bar in the timeline view is where you input keywords. The filter icon on the right side is how you add tags and project context:

Hierarchy navigation

The hierarchy is customizable and provides project context to Tato. There is no limit to the number of themes you can add to the hierarchy and each theme can go four levels deep.

The hierarchy navigation helps filter the data on the dashboard and changes the context in chats. It also creates the tags available in the event search.

In this example you see the hierarchy being used to change the dashboard context. The breadcrumbs indicate that we are in the context of “Project X” in the “integrations” theme:

Recipes

Use recipes to extract data with custom prompts. You can use it to ask specific questions, series of questions or change the answer layout (text VS. bullet points). You can also use it to apply filters related to time, people and much more.

Recipes are available in the dashboard and chat views. Recipes are not yet customizable on the UX. You can select from our available defaults.

In this example, we are changing the recipe pinned on the dashboard. The default is a project summary and we are changing it to a list of recent risks:

In this other example, we can activate the recipes in the chat. The chat view is more interactive but it allows follow-up questions:

Data source

Data source allows me to filter the views with data coming from specific sources

Data source selection is only available for the chat view

In this example, we are filtering the chat to only consider snippets.

Data edit/delete

You have full control of the data collected by Tato. You can edit results or delete data from different views.

Data edit/delete is available for all views except for the timeline. Event previews can be edited on individual meeting views.
