⚡
The Skills feature replaces Recipes with a more flexible, scoped system for running prompts and actions in Tato.
Skills can be pinned, suggested, and scoped to different levels: Organization, Project, or Personal — giving control over where they show up.

For Admins: Organization & Project-Level Skills
cmd/ctrl+k “skills” for org settings or open project settings
Admins can create and manage Skills at two levels:
Organization Level
- Skills are available to everyone in the org.
- Visibility options:
- Pinned: appears in main chat and side chat screens.
- Meeting: appears in meeting chats.
- Suggested: appears in the homepage’s dynamic prompt suggestions.
- Suggested Skills are automatically added to the library of potential prompts based on context (project, user, day of week, etc).
- Changes cascade to all users
Project Level
- Same controls as Org level, but scoped to a specific project.
- Useful for Skills relevant only to a particular implementation or team.
- Prevents clutter from org-wide Skills that aren’t relevant to all users.

For Anyone: Personal Skills
cmd/ctrl+k “my skills” for personal skills settings
All users can:
- Create their own Skills visible only to them.
- Copy and paste Skills from Org or Project level into their personal list.
- Adjust visibility (Pinned, Meeting, Suggested) for their own Skills.
- Use Skills directly in chat, meetings, or homepage suggestions.

Porting Recipes to Skills
Recipes are still accessible in settings for now.
If you have a Recipe you love:
- Open it in Recipes.
- Copy and paste it into a new Skill.
- Adjust scope and visibility as needed.
Need help?
Our team can assist with migrating Recipes to Skills — especially for complex multi-step prompts or special formatting.
What’s next?
We’re just getting started with how we think Skills will automate agents + humans working together on ERP implementations. If you have any ideas or simply want to brainstorm with our team about skills, please reach out. We’d love to hear from you.
